As a playwright and poet I find myself using verse to create hundreds of characters in my plays and poems. This unique exhibition of verse is a selection of those imaginary people: people who are not me.

Wan2tlk?

"Wan2tlk?" by Kevin Fegan. Published by Methuen Drama. Play for young people first commissioned in Liverpool by New Heys Community School and Arts in Regeneration Speke-Garston. Performed at Liverpool Everyman Theatre in 2001. Subsequent productions include National Academy of Dramatic Art in Sydney. Forthcoming productions include Mansfield Palace Theatre 17th-18th Feb 2011.

Slave - Manchester 23rd-27th Nov 2010

Premiere Performances: 23rd-27th November 2010 @ The Lowry (Quays Theatre), Salford Quays.

Mende's story is adapted for the stage for an ensemble cast of British and African performers. It is told as a feast of storytelling, music, dance and film. The best-selling book, "Slave", was written by Mende Nazer and Damien Lewis (published by Virago) and adapted as "I Am Slave" by Slate Films (Film Four).

It is adapted for the stage by Kevin Fegan and directed by Caroline Clegg. Commissioned by Feelgood Theatre Productions Manchester.
